Citydrive is a car sharing app that lets you rent vehicles by the minute in Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Sochi. The process is simple: sign up, find a car on the map, and drive away without keys. A wide range of clean, well-maintained cars includes economy models, premium sedans, and even Teslas.

Renting a Car

Registration requires a passport, valid driver’s license, and a bank card. You must be at least 20 years old with one year of driving experience. Once approved, you can locate the nearest car, book it, and unlock it through the app. Parking and fuel are included in the rental fee, and in Moscow and St. Petersburg, paid city parking is also covered.

Pricing and Plans

Citydrive offers several rate options. The per-minute rate has three modes: Use (while driving), Parking (when stopped but still renting), and Transfer (if you leave the car outside the green zone). Prices start at 9.17 ₽ per minute for Use and 4.4 ₽ for Parking. For longer trips, tariffs from 2 hours to 7 days charge a fixed rental fee plus a per-kilometer cost, starting at 329 ₽ for 2 hours and 8 ₽/km. The Fix tariff lets you set a destination and see the total price upfront, though the time limit may adjust for traffic. Dynamic pricing applies in some cities and tariffs, so rates vary with demand, traffic, and time of day.

Support and Insurance

Every rental includes mandatory motor insurance (OSAGO) and life/health coverage. If you want extra protection, comprehensive insurance is available. Support is available 24/7 by phone, email, or in-app chat. In case of an accident, you must call 112, notify Citydrive, and follow specific steps to document the incident. Photos of the damage and the other vehicle are required, and you must send them to the support email. Fines may apply if you fail to provide final accident documents. The app also has a cashback system: the more you drive, the higher your level and the greater your rewards.
